Lacey opens applications for Human Services Grant Program to providers

Posted

The City of Lacey has announced the opening of the application period for its new Human Services Grant Program (HSGP), running now through Friday, July 26.

Non-profit human service providers serving Lacey community members are encouraged to apply for a share of up to $300,000 in available funding.

The HSGP aims to support programs and projects that address basic human needs in three priority focus areas - housing, survival, and security.

In housing, the program initiates the expansion and upgrade of affordable housing, provides emergency rental assistance, offers housing education, and creates or maintains supportive housing services.

Initiatives are taken to ensure access to food, water, shelter, sleep, and clothing for survival.

The program also focuses on security, offers job training and placement, mental and physical health care, drug and alcohol recovery services, support during personal or family crises, and transportation.

For more information and to apply, visit the City of Lacey website
