A Lacey man who was reported to police for allegedly attempting to enter a stranger’s apartment later got another charge for headbutting an officer.

According to reports by multiple Olympia police officers, Koren D Petrozzi, 19, was arrested last Sat., Feb. 12, after a woman told dispatchers that a man she did not know was trying to get into her apartment and claiming that he lived there.

“I heard a noise at my bedroom window,” the woman said in a written statement. “Blinds were ajar six inches and [I] looked out to see legs, jeans, and white tennis shoes. I asked him ‘What the f’ he was doing. He laughed at me. Told him to leave and get out.”

Officers noted that Petrozzi appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance, as he was shadow boxing and pacing back and forth when they arrived.

Police said the suspect immediately called them “b*tches” and told them to “f*ck off” as they approached, then began challenging them to a fight.

Officers said they backed away to deescalate the situation, at which point Petrozzi began punching car windows and a handicap sign.

The suspect also attempted to enter a car, police said, prompting a bystander who identified himself as the vehicle’s owner to yell at the suspect to get away. More people came out of their apartments and began screaming at Petrozzi.

Police took control of the suspect to arrest him for disorderly conduct.

One officer said that, as Petrozzi was being handcuffed, the suspect said “F*ck you b*tch” and headbutted him, causing a mild pain to his right cheekbone.

Petrozzi was placed in a restraint system due to his behavior.

The suspect was booked at the Thurston County Jail for disorderly conduct and assault of an officer. Records show that he is facing charges at the Thurston County Superior Court.
