K9 Igo from Thurston County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) successfully tracked down a suspect who had recently fled from multiple agencies, TCSO K9 Unit shared on their social media post.

The Centralia Police Department attempted to stop a stolen vehicle on the morning of January 14,  whose driver, a wanted suspect with a history of evading authorities, tried to flee on foot after the vehicle was spiked in Thurston County.

K9 Igo was then deployed to track down the suspect.

For over an hour, Igo navigated through the area, including fences, and reached the back of a residence where the eluding suspect was found.

The successful apprehension is credited to the coordinated efforts of K9 Igo and the various agencies that collaborated on the operation.

TCSO K9 Unit shared their appreciation to K9 Igo and all the agencies that have worked together to arrest the suspect.

GOOD dog!! I just feel sorry for the innocent victims, the folks who've lost a car, had it destroyed or never see it again because it's being kept as evidence. The thief is slapped on the wrist for yet another car theft and is free on bail, maybe, and the owners of the vehicle are out a car, they might lose their job as well as the car, or worse it's been so damaged it's totaled. Where is the justice in that?
