Forecast calls for rain this week in Thurston County

Onshore air flow and low pressure are expected to produce some wet conditions over the next few days in Thurston County.

The National Weather Service Office in Seattle forecast calls for a 50 percent chance of rain on Tuesday, Feb. 24, with a north, northeast wind of 5 to 7 miles per hour (mph). The high should be near 45 degrees.

The chance of rain is the same on Tuesday evening, with an overnight low around 34 degrees and a south, southwest wind around 6 mph.

Rain is likely, mainly after 10 a.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 25. The high should be near 49 degrees, with a west, southwest wind of 7 to 11 mph and gusts as high as 20 mph.

There is a 50 percent chance of rain on Wednesday evening. The overnight low should be around 37 degrees.

Rain is also likely on Thursday, Feb. 26, and Friday, Feb. 27. Forecasts are subject to change.
