Final call for Inspire Olympia Impact Funding applications 

Organizations seeking financial support for cultural programs in Olympia have two more days to submit their applications for Inspire Olympia’s Impact Funding, which will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 14.

The program provides grants ranging from $3,000 to $30,000 for initiatives promoting arts, culture, heritage and science that are accessible to the community.  

Eligible projects may include one-time events, ongoing programs, or a series of activities open to the general public or focused on youths under 18. 

Applicants must match the requested funds dollar for dollar, which can come from cash contributions, in-kind donations, grants, or revenue from ticket sales and tuition fees.  

The Olympia City Council will determine award recipients through a competitive review process. 

 To qualify, organizations must: 

• Align their mission with advancing arts, culture, heritage or science. 

• Hold 501(c)(3) nonprofit status or have a fiscal sponsor with a similar mission. 

• Based in Olympia or serve the Olympia community. 

• Host at least one public cultural event or program annually. 

Funding decisions will be announced on June 6, 2025. The awarded grants will be distributed between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026.
