A pair of felony assault suspects were taken into custody after a high-speed chase, in which speeds were reported to exceed 130 miles per hour.
Centralia Police Department personnel were in pursuit of unlicensed Dodge Charger on Saturday, Aug. 22, when the pursuit was called off.
"The vehicle blacked out at speeds over 130 mph and Centralia PD (Police Department) terminated. A short time later, a possible address was provided for the suspects," said Thurston County Sheriff Derek Sanders in a social media post on Sunday, Aug. 23.
"(Thurston County Sheriff's Office) Deputies located the suspect car at the address and Centralia responded and obtained a search warrant. Both suspects were apprehended without incident and turned over to Centralia PD."
The two suspects were not identified.
