Olympia is seeking artists for its annual Arts Walk poster and other event publications.
Every year, two artists are selected to showcase their creative talents, one for fall Arts Walk and another for spring Arts Walk and Procession of the Species.
Artists looking to make their mark on the local arts community are invited to participate in the selection process, which begins with a call for submissions that usually takes place in the fall for the following year's events.
Selected artists will receive a commission of $750 to create original work to be featured in Arts Walk posters and other event materials.
Artists chosen for this opportunity will enjoy exposure across a variety of digital and print platforms, ensuring their work reaches a broad audience.
Artists will be highlighted through exclusive in-studio interviews and will have the opportunity to discuss their creative process and inspiration.
Winning artists will also be featured on the City of Olympia’s website and social media platforms, in press interviews, and in event marketing promotions.
