Attention 18-25 year-olds: Ever want to be in the movies?

Casting agent says, "We’re not into the Hollywood approach."

Sometime in the next few weeks an ensemble of three to five people ages 18-25 will be picked to star together in a new feature film.

They might be you, or your neighbor or your neighbor's kids -- as long as they're not trained or experienced actors.  "It's great to be able to cast people who have never acted before," according to Jesy Rae Buhl, the casting director who is in the Yakima area this week and is headed toward Olympia in the coming weeks.

The storyline

According to materials from Cargo & Buhl, the casting partner,  three to five 17-year-olds from the Pacific Northwest "run away from home and set off on
an improvisational odyssey in search of hope, opportunity and adventure. While passing through a series of iconic landscapes they encounter a string of unforgettable characters, filled with spiritual ingenuity and haunted by the repercussions of the American Dream."

As Buhl travels around the Evergreen and Beaver States, she's also looking for other "side characters that the group of friends encounters along the way. We're looking for big personalities, storytellers, bar flies," she told The JOLT.

The invitation reads:

"NO ACTING EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY!
"Young adults age 18 - 25.

"Seeking daredevils, fearless outcasts, misfits and the like. Strong personalities. Tough on the outside, fiercely loyal and protective of the ones they love. We'd love to cast a group of real-life friends. Individuals, groups of friends, siblings, and couples encouraged to apply together."
