All-day staff training to shutter public buildings in Lacey

A number of public buildings will be closed in the City of Lacey because of all-day staff training on Wednesday, May, 7.

All front counter staff and their supervisors will take part in a mandatory crisis reality training.

"This training will equip them with new skills to use when facing crisis situations in everyday life," the city said in a notice about the training session and building closures.

"City Hall, the Police Department, and Maintenance Shop will be closed to the public during the all-day training. However, you can find information about many (city) services by visiting the (city's) website."

The city also noted that if people need to call city hall "please be patient as staff work to answer calls as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding."
