Over 190,000 ballots from the Thurston County Auditor’s Elections Division were mailed to voters for the upcoming August 6 Primary Election.

Registered voters who have not received their ballots by Wednesday, July 24, are urged to contact the Elections Division at 360.786.5408 or via email.

Military and overseas voters registered in Thurston County had their ballots mailed on June 21.

Voters are reminded that their ballots must be postmarked by August 6. A stamp is not required to mail the ballot, but make sure not to miss the mail pick-up time. If mail was not picked up on time, head to your nearest drop-box center.

Thirty secure ballot drop boxes are already open across the county. These drop boxes will remain open until 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, August 6.

Starting July 17, the Thurston County Auditor’s Elections Division will operate as a voting center during business hours. Voters can register, update their registration, obtain a ballot, or use a voting assistance device.

Thurston County Auditor’s Elections Division’s new address is 2915 29th Ave SW, Tumwater, WA 98512.

Please note that voter services are not available at the Thurston County Courthouse or the Atrium at 3000 Pacific Avenue SE.

Voters can find the locations and addresses of the drop box centers in their mailed ballot materials and the Thurston County Elections webpage, where they can also find more information about the August 6 Primary Election.
