Slow Food Enthusiasts Terra Madre Salone del Gusto, Friday, November 8
Hosted every other year in Turin, Italy, this year marked the 20th gathering in support of good, clean, and fair food for everyone. Several community members attended the gathering and will share stories, experiences, and knowledge. Click this link for more details.

Fall Into Christmas Bazaar, Saturday, November 9, 9 – 3 p.m.
Handcrafted and holiday gift items, wood crafts, holiday baked goods, homemade candies, jam and jellies, kitchen items, items for children, pet items, stocking stuffers, gift baskets and more. The event also includes raffle items. No outside vendors. Click this link for more details.

Holiday Bazaar and Bake Sale, Saturday, November 9
The Woman's Club of Olympia's annual Holiday Bazaar is happening on Saturday, November 9 from 10 to 3 p.m. It is always a fun event with early holiday shopping for crafts, art, baked goodies, and more. Salmon Experience at Bayshore Preserve, November 9-11, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Witness one of nature’s most extraordinary displays of migration and resilience. During Salmon Experience, volunteer salmon docents will be at Bayshore Preserve to celebrate the return of salmon and answer visitor questions. Underwater cameras will be on display each day so visitors can get an up-close look at the fish. Click this link for more details.

Houseplants 101 at Underhill Plants, Saturday, November 9, 12 – 2 p.m.
Houseplants 101 is recommended for folks new to the hobby, growers new to the PNW, experienced growers looking to troubleshoot problems, and anyone else who wants to brush up on indoor plant care basics in good company! This course is recommended to attendees ages 15 and up. This workshop will be presented by the store owner, Alden Davis. Click this link for more details.

March to Freedom, Saturday, November 9, 1:30– 2:30 p.m.
