Horses Healing Hearts: A Night of Denim and Diamonds, September 23, from 5:30 P.M. 

HeartStrides Therapeutic Horsemanship invites you to its first-ever Gala "Horses Healing Hearts: Night of Denim and Diamonds” on September 23. HeartStrides is an effective-based Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) program that is designed to inspire social, emotional, and psychological wellness for youth at risk, veterans, active military, and first responders. Its mission is to integrate the pritnciples of horsemanship with research-based learning during interactive experiences with horses. Click this link for more details.

33rd Nisqually Watershed Festival 2022, September 24, from 10:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.

The Nisqually Watershed Festival is back! For over 30 years the Festival has served as a community celebration recognizing the rich cultural history and environmental treasures found throughout the region and after two years it’s finally returning in person! Entrance is free all day! The Police Citizen’s Academy is a FREE course designed to provide residents with a broad understanding of local police services and the criminal justice system.
