Horses Healing Hearts: A Night of Denim and Diamonds, September 23, from 5:30 P.M. 

HeartStrides Therapeutic Horsemanship invites you to its first-ever Gala "Horses Healing Hearts: Night of Denim and Diamonds” on September 23. HeartStrides is an effective-based Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) program that is designed to inspire social, emotional, and psychological wellness for youth at risk, veterans, active military, and first responders. Its mission is to integrate the pritnciples of horsemanship with research-based learning during interactive experiences with horses. Click this link for more details.

33rd Nisqually Watershed Festival 2022, September 24, from 10:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.

The Nisqually Watershed Festival is back! For over 30 years the Festival has served as a community celebration recognizing the rich cultural history and environmental treasures found throughout the region and after two years it’s finally returning in person! Entrance is free all day! Festival parking will be at the Hawks Prairie Park-n-Ride, 2548 Hogum Bay Rd NE Olympia WA 98516, with a shuttle to the Refuge running every 15 minutes.  Click this link for more details. 

Harlequin’s Annual Gala and 2023 Season, September 24, from 6:00 P.M. 

The biggest fundraiser of the year, Harlequin’s Annual Gala and 2023 Season Announcement! There's No Place Like Home - Family Support Center Fall Fundraiser, September 24, from 6:00 P.M. 

On Saturday, September 24th, Family Support Center of South Sound will be hosting a 30th anniversary celebration titled, ‘There’s No Place Like Home’, and the Lacey Community Center. At this dinner and auction, they will be celebrating 30 years of successfully helping families and sharing stories of just how wonderful it is when someone finds a new home of their own! Police Citizen's Academy by Tumwater University, September 26, from 6:00 P.M. - 8:30 P.M.  

The Police Citizen’s Academy is a FREE course designed to provide residents with a broad understanding of local police services and the criminal justice system. Commissioned police officers and detectives participate as instructors, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the Police Department and hands-on learning experiences.     Oktoberfest Bingo Friday, Sep 23rd - tonight! - in Lacey at the Virgil Clarkson Lacey Senior Center.

    6 to 9 pm, 21+ to attend, cost - $25 cash, bring extra for bonus bingo games, daubers, snack food and the bar (Jell-O shots!).

    Enter our costume contest for a prize! Entry fee is $25 at the door ($5 is for gaming fee, and covers ten sheets for the ten standard games, with payouts of $60/each).
