Tumwater road construction at various sites this week

Tumwater advised motorists that the northbound lanes of Capitol Boulevard SW at Tumwater Boulevard SW and both lanes of Cleveland Avenue SE between Delta Lane SE and Ensley Lane SE will have alternating lane closures 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 23 to Thursday, August 25.

According to the city, construction crews will be working on utility covers in the areas.

“Traffic control will be in place. Please drive slowly through the work zone or take an alternate route to avoid the work areas if possible,” says the city.
