South Puget Sound Community College Percival Choir to hold Water and Sky concert later this month

The Percival Choir of South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC), conducted by Crystal Zimmerman, will perform Water and Sky, a concert on August 23, 2024, at 7:30 p.m., according to a press release.

Slated to be at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts Main Stage, the concert will feature work from notable composers Mendelssohn, Hagenberg, and Whitacre and words from poems by Frost, Kipling, and E. E. Cummings.

Water and Sky also welcomes Dr. James Doyle as its guest performer, who will present part of his ongoing larger work “Confluence” on vibraphone.

The college requests an optional $15 donation at the door, and entrance is free to SPSCC students, staff, and faculty.
