Local high school turns tabletop game into a stage play

North Thurston High School held a play last weekend based on a tabletop game.

Named “Clue,” based on the classic Hasbro game, North Thurston High School’s drama club performed at the school's Koval Center for the Performing Arts last week.  The play was written by Sandy Rustin, based on a screenplay by Jonathan Lyn, with teacher Kathrine Deneen directing.

A whodunit, Clue featured most of the game’s characters, such as Col. Mustard, Scarlet, Mrs. Peacock, and others; with audiences remarking on its humor and the ending that had a modern twist.
