Tumwater construction crews will close the northbound lanes of Littlerock Road SW and the east-west shopping center access road from 7:30 p.m., Saturday, August 20, to 7:30 a.m., Sunday, August 21.
City crews will replace a broken water valve at the intersection in the 5300-5400 block of Littlerock Road SW, afterward making asphalt repairs in the area, the city said in an email.
“Traffic control will be in place, and northbound traffic will be detoured to the center turn lane,” said the city. “Please drive slowly through the work zone or take an alternate route to avoid the intersection if possible.”
Businesses in the area have already been notified of the water interruption, which will be restored as soon as repairs have been made, assured Tumwater.
