Job fair scheduled online for Friday, Aug. 14

Posted

THURSTON COUNTY –– Employers in the Thurston County area who are eager to find new employees can register for a virtual space for an online job fair coming this Friday, Aug. 14, from 1:30-3:30 p.m.

The virtual job fair, which organizers at the Pacific Mountain Workforce Development Council are calling “Find Work Friday,” will allow companies to have a virtual table at the job fair to find new employees for current job openings. Employers and recruits can chat virtually at the job fair through an instant messaging chat feature to talk about job openings at any job at that company.

Employers can set up their virtual booth using tools available on the job fair website. Once a company is registered for the event, organizers will send an email that supports continued setup in time for the event.
