Development projects get public hearings next Tuesday

The Thurston County hearings examiner is inviting the public to weigh in on three development projects at a public hearing next Tuesday, Nov. 10.

At 10 a.m. next Tuesday, there will be a public hearing on a proposal by Vet Venture Geoduck Farms for a shoreline development permit for a commercial geoduck farm in the tidelands of 7646 Sandy Point Beach Rd. NE in Olympia.

At 11 a.m. next Tuesday, there will be a public hearing on the city of Olympia’s proposal to build a 3.26-acre off-leash dog park at 2008 Yelm Hwy SE. The dog park would be fenced and there would be parking.

At noon next Tuesday, there will be a public hearing on Todd Mason’s application to vacate a portion of 69th Ave NE and a portion of the alley in Block 59, plat of Boston Harbor in Olympia.
