Community Conversation with Citizen University CEO Eric Liu

Posted
The Community Foundation of South Puget Sound is pleased to invite community members to an engaging evening with Eric Liu, CEO of Citizen University.

The event is on May 20, 2025, from 6 to 8:45 p.m. at South Puget Sound Community College.

This event is part of the Foundation's annual Community Conversation event, aimed at fostering collaboration, engagement, and inclusion
across Lewis, Mason, and Thurston County communities.

Following last year's inspiring conversation with author and journalist Mónica Guzmán, this year's event will delve into themes of civic health and belonging.

Eric Liu will explore what it means to be an engaged American in today's divisive political landscape and discuss ways to unite in restoring hope, reviving democracy, and fostering a sense of belonging within communities.

Drawing from his books, You're More Powerful Than You Think and Become America, Liu will challenge attendees to reclaim collective power, rehumanize politics, and move from isolation to the community.
