An armed felon is accused of breaking into a local business in Lacey on Christmas day.
Lacey Police Department said store owners reported that security cameras captured a man rummaging through their establishment with a flashlight.
Officers arrived at the scene and saw the suspect exiting through a rear door. The suspect was taken into custody and officers found a loaded firearm in the waistband of his pants.
Images from Lacey police showed a broken window at the store and a gun loaded with four bullets.
Authorities said the man was found to be a convicted felon with prior burglary convictions.
The suspect was booked into jail for burglary, felon in possession of a firearm, third-degree theft and malicious mischief.
