A man preventing customers from entering the Dollar Tree store was arrested by Lacey Police on Tue., April 13.

Dollar Tree had a no-trespass order against David Marcus Fisher, 50, who violated that order, standing outside the 606 Sleater Kinney Road SE business drinking a large can of Arizona Ice Tea, while blocking customers from entering the establishment.

The Dollar Tree’s manager had previously attempted to engage Fisher and ask him to leave, but he refused and was “rambling on about something.”

This was the fourth contact that Lacey Police had with Fisher.

When Lacey Police arrived, the two officers felt that Fisher was under the influence, stumbling, moving erratically. Fisher started to run, making it to the next store over, Aaron’s, before law enforcement apprehended him. Four officers made contact with Fisher, grabbing his legs, lifting them into the air to put him on the ground. It was at this point that handcuffs were applied.

An employee of Aaron’s was discovered recording the arrest, but only got a partial video of the interaction. That brief video is appended to the security camera recording, above.

Booked in the Nisqually Jail for Criminal Trespass and Resisting Arrest, Lacey Police learned that Fisher had a Dept. of Corrections felony warrant pending for escape of community custody.
