Sex offender arrested after two sexual assault allegations

Sheriff on the lookout for more victims

Thurston County Sheriff's Office (TCSO) has taken a sex offender into custody following reports of sexual assault after luring them to a secluded place before being assaulted and is asking other possible victims to come forward.

A few months ago, TCSO detectives received two reports of sexual assault with similar circumstances in Downtown Olympia.

During the investigation, detailed information provided by one of the victims linked these cases to two others involving the same suspect.

The investigation unveiled a similar pattern of how the suspect, registered as a transient sex offender in a different county, allegedly targeted women in Downtown Olympia by enticing them to what he purported as his residence under deceptive pretenses.

He then sexually assaulted them before transporting them away from the crime scene.

On April 30, law enforcement arrested the suspect at the address where he appears to reside.

The suspect now faces charges of two counts of first-degree rape and failure to register as a sex offender.

Authorities expressed concern that there may be additional victims yet to come forward, urging anyone who may have experienced a similar ordeal or any form of sexual assault to come forward.

If you have any information, please contact a deputy via dispatch at 360-704-2740 or email TCSO detectives directly.

“Your information could be crucial in furthering this investigation and preventing future offenses. Your courage in sharing your story can make a significant difference,” TCSO stated.

This is utterly useless as there are hundreds of sexual predators out there, and you don't tell us the name of this one? WHY do you protect a known criminal? This *** offender has already been imprisoned and released, so it's not as if he's not a known offender. SHOW US THE PICTURES. Give us the name.
